Description

Packed in 25Kg bag; Synthetic Polypropylene mesh fiber is used for concreting works to replace brc mesh in ground slabs, pavement, carwash and in mortar to reduce cracks. 50mm macro concrete fibermesh saves cost by 50%

Key Features:

  • Reinforces against cracks from shrinkage and stress
  • Alkali- and moisture-resistant for long-term durability
  • Lightweight, flexible, and easy to apply
  • Enhances bonding and structural integrity
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

Usage:

The standard dosage for fiber reinforcement is typically 1% to 3% of the total cementitious weight.

  1.  Standard Reinforcement (Crack Control): Use approx. 1 packet weighs 1 kg and covers 0.8cubic meters of concrete = 5bags cement.
  2. High-Strength/GFRC (Structural): Use approx. 2 kg of fiber and covers 0.8cubic meters of concrete = 5bags cement. (this equals a 3% load).

The Mixing Sequence

To prevent the 5cm strands from clumping, follow this specific order:

  1. Dry Mix First: Blend your cement and aggregates (sand/gravel) thoroughly while dry.
  2. Add 80% of Water: Add most of your water and any liquid plasticizers. Mix until you have a uniform, “creamy” paste.
  3. Introduce Fibers Gradually: Do not dump the fibers in all at once. Sift or sprinkle the chopped strands into the wet mix while the mixer is running.
  4. Final Water Adjustment: Add the remaining 20% of water until you reach the desired consistency.
  5. Short Mixing Time: Once the fibers are in, mix for only 3 to 5 minutes. Over-mixing can break down the strands or cause them to “ball” up into hairy lumps.
